Join us for the 2024 National Gathering of the Open and Affirming Coalition of The United Church of Christ. We will come together under the theme “Resistance and Persistence: Hope Reigns.” This year’s gathering is a powerful call to embrace hope, patience, and perseverance as we continue our journey of faith and advocacy amidst challenging social, political, and economic times.
You do not want to miss this inspiring event filled with dynamic speakers, insightful workshops, and meaningful worship experiences. Also, please note that registration includes most meals (3 breakfasts, 3 lunches) AND your ticket to the ONA Gala- a short program, banquet meal, and dance party!
Topics and themes covered include: Community Organizing and Advocacy, Self-Care/Self Love and Healing, Worship and Spiritual Practices, Pushing Back Against White Nationalism, and more!
Churches send your Representatives!
We encourage each church to send at least two representatives or ambassadors to this gathering. This event is a unique opportunity for churches to receive guidance on organizing and expanding their ONA missions. Attendees will be among the first to hear about and contribute to the future direction of the coalition. The Open and Affirming Coalition is also working to organize churches into geographical networks, and your representatives will play a key role in this initiative. Additionally, this gathering provides a valuable opportunity for representatives to meet others in the field, fostering connections and sharing experiences that will enrich and inspire our collective efforts as we set the tone and goals for the next phase of the Open and Affirming journey.

Registration Prices:
- Early Bird Registration: $300 (Expires 7/15/2024)
- Regular Registration: $400 (Expires 8/30/2024)
- Last Minute Registration: $500 (Expires 9/22/2024)
Additional Registration Information:
This year, we are offering the convenience of paying for your registration in installments. The full registration price for the installment plan is $300. To take advantage of this opportunity, simply choose the installment ticket option and pay the initial payment of $100. To take advantage of the installment plan you must pay your deposit by July 15th and follow this payment schedule for the remaining balance:
- $100 payment due August 15
- $100 payment due September 15
***Please note that we are unable to refund any registration or installment payments. However, if you need to forfeit your registration, you will receive credit for a coalition donation equivalent to your payments.
