Reflect on the inspiring moments from the 2024 National Gathering of the Open and Affirming Coalition of the United Church of Christ, held in Cincinnati, Ohio. This year’s theme, “Resistance and Persistence: Hope Reigns,” brought together LGBTQ+ individuals, allies, and church leaders from across the country for five powerful days of worship, learning, and community-building.

Dr. Karen Georgia Thompson (general minister and president of the United Church of Christ), to workshops on justice and inclusion, to joyful celebrations at our gala, this video captures the heart of our movement for love and justice. Together, we resist hate and persist in hope, standing firm in our commitment to affirming dignity and building a just world for all.
