Hope thrives where love is nurtured—and in a world where LGBTQ+ lives are under relentless attack, we need both now more than ever. That’s why the Open and Affirming Coalition of the United Church of Christ is inviting you to be part of Give OUT Day 2025, the only national day of giving for LGBTQ+ causes.

Early giving begins May 22, and Give OUT Day is June 5.

Together, we can transform lives and create a world where all are welcomed, affirmed, and celebrated. Every $10 gift strengthens the movement for LGBTQ+ inclusion in church and community, ensuring that love and justice prevail over fear and discrimination.

Our Goal: 5,000 Individual Gifts—Here’s Why It Matters!

Give OUT Day isn’t about raising the biggest dollar amount; it’s about the power of community. The prizes we’re aiming for are awarded based on the number of unique donations given between May 22 and June 5, 2025. That means each and every $10 gift plays a crucial role in helping us reach our goal.

Here’s how you can amplify your impact:

• Planning to give $100? Instead, donate $10 and give $10 to 9 friends—and ask them to give it to our campaign.
• Or better yet, take it one step further: give 9 friends $10 and encourage them to match it with a contribution of their own.

Every individual gift of at least $10, brings us closer to unlocking additional funds for this vital work. Together, we can make a lasting difference. Let’s do this

What your gift makes possible:

• Giving Hope by amplifying our advocacy work to create engagement that inspires and mobilizes change—like the recent rally in Washington, D.C., collaboratively organized with our ecumenical partners, the Collective of Queer Christian Leaders. 
• Growing Love by expanding the Open and Affirming Church movement—we’re at 1,915 churches and counting toward our goal of 2,000 by year’s end
• Giving Hope by growing our Open and Affirming coach network, equipping more churches to become ONA and live fully into inclusive ministry
• Growing Love by launching a microgrant program—small grants to help churches creatively live out their ONA covenants
